Anesthesiologist opportunity with nationally recognized Cumberland Valley Surgery Center in Hagerstown, MD

Description

Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is the longest active multispecialty, same day surgery center in the Hagerstown area. The facility has 1 Operating room with general anesthesia capabilities, 2 Treatment rooms with local / monitored anesthesia care capabilities, 1 Preoperative area and 1 Post Anesthesia Care Area.

Cases : CVSC specializes in Pain Management, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Dental / Oral surgery, Gynecology, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry, and Endoscopy. Strong regional skills required.

Location Facts and Schedule

Schedule includes : Monday-Friday (8 hour shifts). PRN providers must be able to work 1 day per week or a minimum of 6 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and / or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and / or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical interventions as needed

Requirements

Total Rewards

W2 Hourly Rate : $225 per hour

1099 Hourly Rate : $250 per hour
