Job Description :
\nJoin the dedicated team at Springfield Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Med Surg / Tele unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to adult patients.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg / Tele environment, managing a patient load of approximately 1 : 5.\nMonitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.\nAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and other advanced procedures.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.\nEnsure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.\nProvide patient education and support to promote recovery and well-being.\nAssist with occasional PCU (Progressive Care Unit) responsibilities on a 3 : 1 patient ratio, including non-negotiable drip medication administration and charge nurse duties.\n\n
What You Bring : \n \n
At least 1 year of recent RN experience in Med Surg or Tele units.\nProven competency in managing IV drips and complex medication administration.\nAbility to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and work under pressure during night shifts.\nStrong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.\n\n
Preferred Education & Experience :
\n \n
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN).\nPrevious experience working in an acute care hospital setting.\nExperience with PCU patient care and managing complex medication regimens.\n\n

This assignment is scheduled to end on March 22, 2026, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.\nThe hourly rate is $429.31, with a taxable weekly pay of $642.42.\nHoliday RTO requests are not available; all scheduling requests are already reserved.\nHoliday multiplier of 1.25% applies; overtime will be compensated at regular rate.\nTravelers must be able to work charge nurse and drip responsibilities.\nPlease note : 48-hour notices will not be accepted for schedule changes.\n\n
