About the Role :

Our client, a well-established and growing company headquartered in downtown Chicago, is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong technical background in accounting, auditing, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and execute internal audits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation across business processes.

Develop audit plans, perform detailed testing, and deliver high-quality audit reports with actionable recommendations.

Collaborate with management to strengthen internal controls and enhance operational efficiency.

Support external audit activities and coordinate with auditors as needed.

Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring organizational practices remain up to standard.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA designation required .

3-5+ years of internal audit or public accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and risk assessment.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
