Outpatient FQHC

Credentialing : 30 days

Start : As soon as credentialed

LOA : 3-6 month contracts available

Schedule : 4 10hr days or M-F 8hr days

Patient Volume : 16 per day

Procedures : Bread & butter Optometry- conduct vision exams, diagnose impairments, prescribe glasses, contacts, medications, and therapeutic procedures. Provide pre- and postoperative care. Manage diabetics, cataracts, glaucoma, and broader pathology including potential pituitary adenoma.

EMR : Athena

License : Maine

Certifications : DEA, BLS

Additional Information : Support staff : 1-2 Optometric Techs (depending on staffing)

Clinic has two lanes, OCT, visual field, and iCare plenty of equipment. Excellent access to ophthalmology; local specialists see urgent cases (e.g., retinal detachment) within 24 hours.
