Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and cook meals according to daily menus, recipes, and resident-specific dietary requirements (e.g., low sodium, diabetic-friendly, pureed diets).
• Adjust recipes and portions based on dietary guidelines and the number of residents served.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly.
• Communicate with residents, families, and nursing staff to understand and accommodate special dietary needs.
• Seek feedback on meals to improve service quality and resident satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and dietary aides to ensure efficient meal service.
• Participate in kitchen staff meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
