Private Investigator (PI) - Montana (Contract)Overview

We're looking for a licensed Private Investigator (PI) in  Montana  to join our team on a contract (1099) basis. The ideal candidate will be available to conduct investigations on behalf of our clients within a 2-week window from the time a case is assigned. Investigations typically focus on individual cases, such as infidelity or fraud, and require professionalism, discretion, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and discreet investigations for clients, including surveillance, evidence collection, and reporting.
• Respond to case assignments within a 2-week window, ensuring timely initiation of investigative work.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of investigative activities, including written reports and supporting documentation.
• Adhere to all  Montana state laws , regulations, and ethical standards governing private investigations.
• Communicate effectively with our team to coordinate case details and provide updates on progress.

Requirements

Compensation

$45–$60 per hour, depending on experience and case complexity.

Approximately 1–14 with opportunities to grow and run a team with us.

Contract (1099), no benefits provided at this time; potential to change in the near future.
