ADULT PSYCHIATRIST

Full Time No Nights, No weekends, No on call!

Our client is a Federally Qualified Health Center with locations throughout Jefferson County. The area has been designated a Health Professional Shortage Area and is adjacent to St. Louis, MO. The company has been in business since 1973 and currently provides mental health, primary care, and oral health care services to over 9,000 underserved children and adults.

We are seeking a full time adult and / or child psychiatrist who will be committed to our mission by providing excellent quality psychiatric care for those with chronic mental illness and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will fully comply with agency standards, CARF standards and Board standards for Ethics and licensure as appropriate. In addition, the psychiatrist should be able to work with an electronic medical record system and e-Prescribing for medication orders.

Some of the responsibilities include practicing medicine at the standard of care, appropriate and timely documentation and collaboration with other healthcare disciplines to ensure best clinical outcome.In addition, attendance and participation at team and medical meetings is expected.

Work schedule : Monday-Friday; four 10 hour days or five 8 hour days

Requirements include :

• Doctorate in Medicine : MD or DO
• Unrestricted Missouri Medical Licensure
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility
• Completion of ACGME / AOA Psychiatry Residency
• DEA
