About Us

SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facility Engineer to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Davie County, NC. The Facility Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant operations. This individual will oversee facility maintenance, infrastructure, and utility systems, while directly managing a small team of two electricians.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee facility operations, ensuring smooth and safe functioning of infrastructure equipment and systems.

  • Manage facility-related projects, including upgrades, installations, and repairs.
  • Monitor and optimize energy usage, utilities, and facility systems to improve efficiency
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Prepare and manage facility budgets, maintenance schedules, and documentation.
  • Supervise and support a team of two electricians, ensuring quality work.

Specific areas of responsibility include :

  • HVAC and climate control systems
  • Dust extraction and air filtration systems
  • Compressed air systems
  • Electrical distribution (panels, switchgear, transformers, UPS)
  • Plumbing and water systems, including wastewater management
  • Fire protection and life safety systems
  • Lighting systems, including emergency and exterior lighting
  • Material handling systems (conveyors, dock equipment)
  • Security and access control systems
  • Environmental and emissions control systems

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred).
  • 3+ years of facility or maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supervising maintenance personnel, preferably electricians or technical staff.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
