SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facility Engineer to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Davie County, NC. The Facility Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant operations. This individual will oversee facility maintenance, infrastructure, and utility systems, while directly managing a small team of two electricians.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee facility operations, ensuring smooth and safe functioning of infrastructure equipment and systems.
- Manage facility-related projects, including upgrades, installations, and repairs.
- Monitor and optimize energy usage, utilities, and facility systems to improve efficiency
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
- Prepare and manage facility budgets, maintenance schedules, and documentation.
- Supervise and support a team of two electricians, ensuring quality work.

HVAC and climate control systemsDust extraction and air filtration systemsCompressed air systemsElectrical distribution (panels, switchgear, transformers, UPS)Plumbing and water systems, including wastewater managementFire protection and life safety systemsLighting systems, including emergency and exterior lightingMaterial handling systems (conveyors, dock equipment)Security and access control systemsEnvironmental and emissions control systemsQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred).3+ years of facility or maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience supervising maintenance personnel, preferably electricians or technical staff.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills;Strong communication and interpersonal skills.We offer :
