Overview
Job Summary: Responsible for leave programs for all KPH employees from start to finish of the leave process.
*This is in office and not a remote opportunity.*
Responsibilities
Job Duties
- Responsible for answering all inquiries relating to disability, FMLA, PFL, Workers Compensation and unemployment
- Responsible for maintaining disability/leave of absence and FMLA records as required by law and coordinate with payroll
- Responsible for maintaining and remitting OSHA records as required by law
- Responsible for maintaining and remitting documentation relating to unemployment
- Responsible for maintaining/distributing required up-to-date store postings relating to leaves as required by law
- Assist in the Payroll process as it relates to leaves as needed
- Research/seek out information on a regular basis to ensure compliance
- Act as the liaison with carrier(s) as needed
- Work with payroll to adjust PTO/state sick time programs mid-year as needed
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Minimum: High School Diploma of GED
- Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration
Experience:
- Preferred: 1-2 years experience in Human Resource Department, specifically relating to leave coordination or related field
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Drug Test
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
Compensation:
$18.50 - $19.50 an hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
