Production Technician

We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Production Technician to join our team at our Bloomfield, Connecticut location. First shift hours are 6 : 00am to 3 : 30pm Monday through Friday, as business needs currently dictate one hour of mandatory daily overtime.

Position Summary :

Ensure that all customer orders meet customer, productivity, and quality requirements. Provide support to production and manufacturing engineers as needed.

Responsibilities :

• Create / revise shop orders, including all information to meet customer requirements. Create product structures. Develop / implement routings and plan for materials.
• Plan materials for production schedule. Purchase material. Coordinate outside processes.
• Maintain label database.
• Provide limited editing of production drawings using Computer Aided Design programs to meet production expectations of process improvements, productivity, and quality and customer requirements.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to supervisor.
• Make recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contribute to 5S program in work area.
• Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in training / learning other positions. Accomplish related results as needed.
