Associate Vice President University Controller

The client is seeking an Associate Vice President & University Controller to play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and accountability at UT Austin. This position will oversee key financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and provide strategic leadership in financial planning and reporting. The University is also preparing for a significant Enterprise Resource Planning system implementation, and the University Controller will lead this transformation to enhance financial efficiency and data integrity.

The ideal candidate for the Associate Vice President & University Controller role will be a strategic thinker and financial innovator with experience in managing complex finance and accounting organizations. A Masters degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related discipline, as well as an active CPA license, is preferred. UT Austin is a globally recognized research leader with a main campus spanning 431 acres and a community of almost 54,000 students, 3,500 faculty, and more than 15,000 staff. The University is known for its research contributions, including the development of COVID-19 vaccines.
