Job descriptionBoard-certified / eligible in Emergency Medicine Board-certified / eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ATLS. Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico. Authorized to work in the United States. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available. Our emergency department provides single doctor coverage with an APP from 11 am to 11 pm. Provide top-quality patient care to a rural emergency department with 12 beds in an open ICU setting, seeing 16,650 patients annually. Foster collaboration and support among team members. Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus. Utilize advanced medical technology and handle transfers through the Convenant Transfer Center. Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system. Hobbs isn’t just where we work—it’s where we live and experience the charm of a close-knit community with a strong sense of pride. Compensation : Shifts offered at $295 / hour Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage. Reimbursement for travel and lodging for anyone living outside of the area.
