For our prestigious client, we are aggressively searching for a Senior Data Quality Assurance Engineer.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Senior Data Quality Assurance Engineer, your core responsibilities will include:

-Outline and execute the strategy for Enterprise Data - functional, automation, SOA, API and data quality testing

-Design, implement, maintain, enhance or build ETL based test frameworks

-Leverage your development capabilities using various tools such as Informatica, B2B, PL/SQL, Hadoop to build data assets that enable business value generation

-Act as a point of contact with our vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required.

-Provide IT and business partner consultation on using the Hadoop based testing platform effectively

-Actively participate in our daily scrums to help establish a Test Driven Development / Behavior driven development approach

-Implement and analyze regression reports, code quality, automated builds and KPI’s

-Measure quality from the perspective of end users and downstream dependencies

-Ensure the QA and application platform performs and scales appropriately

-Be part of a Scrum Team – driving work independently or collaboratively towards achieving business outcome

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES:

--Informatica

--Databases: Oracle and SQL Server

--Tableau and/or QlikView

--SOAP UI

--Jenkins or AntHill Pro or Bamboo

--Quality Center or Agile Central (Rally)

WILLINGNESS TO LEARN SOME OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES:

--JAVA | Python | Groovy

--Hadoop

--NOSql Databases - Hive| mongoDB | Hbase

--SonarQube

--Selenium | UFT

--Appium | Perfecto | Mobile Labs

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

-5-8 years of experience in being a data lead with over 3 years of hands on experience in building ETL based testing frameworks with Informatica and developing E2E data strategies

-Experience or a high level understanding of Big Data technologies on a Hadoop platform (e.g. Informatica, Scoop, Hive, Pig, NoSQL)

-Deep experience required in using data quality reporting using tools such as Tableau or Qlikview

-Preferred experience in collaborating across multiple teams Offshore and Onshore

-Desire candidates with prior Data Engineer competencies and prior experience with successful enablement of Data Delivery initiatives

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively across all levels

-BS in Computer Science or technical degree

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following:

-Strong ETL experience in testing data using Informatica, and if does not have Hadoop, willingness to learn.

-Experience in working with Oracle / SQL databases.

-Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

-Agile work experience, we have gone to agile in data.

-Ability to partner with team, working scrum teams, and others across Quality Assurance
