Application Security Engineer

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to join their security team.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct application security assessments, including threat modeling and penetration testing

Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications

Implement and manage security tools and integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

3+ years of experience in application security, penetration testing, or software development with a security focus

Strong knowledge of web application security vulnerabilities and secure coding principles

Experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or Veracode

Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
