Job Description :

• Administer nursing care within scope of practice under the direction of registered professionals, adhering to the guidelines set forth by regulations.
• Perform tasks such as administering oxygen, applying sterile dressings, inserting catheters, and reinserting feeding tubes.
• Engage in wound irrigation, specimen collection, dialysis treatment, and monitoring during procedures.
• Assist professionals during physical exams, treatments, and lab tests; provide first aid and CPR in emergencies.
• Administer medications including controlled drugs and give patients instructions for taking medications.
• Maintain medication accountability records, including charting, preparing, and counting medications, and observing and reporting patient conditions.
• Provide direct care and assistance with daily living activities, such as vital signs monitoring, grooming, hygiene, and repositioning.
• Participate in patient recreational activities and escort patients to appointments.
• Mentor and provide orientation and training to lower-level direct care staff.
• Attend and participate in meetings, committees, conferences, and in-service training as assigned.
• Order medication and medical supplies, clean nursing and medication areas, and conduct clerical tasks like answering phones and filing.
