About the Position :
- Perform account reconciliations, analyze balances, and record monthly journal entries to ensure timely revenue and expense recognition, including evaluation of and support for accruals based on estimates.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and provide margin, operating expense, and variance analysis.
- Emphasis on providing financial planning and analysis, including creation of budgets and ad-hoc reports in support of Sales, Marketing, and Operations segments.
- Manage purchase and sales processes in concert with operations teams, including three-way match of purchase and sale documentation.
- Aid in the management of inventory levels through review of aged inventory.
- Manage treasury needs and foreign currency hedging strategies through cash flow projections.
- Ensure the company remains in good standing with vendors by monitoring accounts payable and initiating vendor payments, including foreign currency denominated payments.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable to preserve or shorten the cash cycle.
- Make recommendations to management for process and profitability improvements.
- Calculate monthly sales commissions and review bi-weekly payroll reports.
- Maintain open lines of communication up and across the organizational chart to sustain proper oversight and to problem solve by leveraging unique skillsets and experiences.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting3+ years of accounting experience in financial reporting and / or cost accounting preferredAdvanced excel skills; data modeling experience preferred.Self-motivated and proactive, with desire to improve and adapt processes.Exhibits strong time management skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment.Conveys professional written and oral communication.Other details :
Full-time employmentHybrid Role : In Eastlake office 2-3x per week preferred; considerations for remote work considered on case-by-case basis.Salary Range : $70,000-$85,000, plus benefits (Healthcare, 401k once eligible, etc.).Start date : As soon as possible.REMOTE-POSITION
