Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Float Pool position requiring travel experience and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Float Pool position covering all inpatient units, including Emergency Department and Women's and Children's Health Unit
  • Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a 36 hours per week schedule
  • RN to patient ratio is 1 : 1
  • Work in facilities that include a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
  • Role may include floating across seven acute care facilities in Vermont and New Hampshire
  • Orientation is provided to all inpatient units the Float Pool covers
  • Assignment is at a facility with 396 beds
  • Level II Pediatric Trauma Center environment
  • Candidates are required to maintain an active license throughout the assignment
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active NH RN license or Compact RN license with proof of state residency
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a comparable setting
  • Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience required within the last 2 years
  • Prior travel nursing experience is required
  • Candidates must live outside a 75 mile radius (no local candidates)
