Job Description

VCU Health is seeking a full-time board-certified or board eligible developmental and behavioral pediatrician to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

The Child Development Pediatric Physician will support the Child Development Clinic by providing comprehensive patient assessments that involve medical, psychological, and educational testing. The physician will diagnose patients across a range of developmental diagnoses and provide recommendations for care planning, referrals, follow-up care coordination, and intervention.

Position Responsibilities :

• Teaching : Teach and mentor medical students, resident physicians, and other trainees.
• Research : Participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.
• Service : Serve on departmental or School of Medicine level committees and engage in professional activities.
• Clinical : Serve as a Developmental and Behavioral physician for the Department of Pediatrics.
• Other : Perform administrative duties associated with this role.
