Palestine Regional Medical Center, located just 45 minutes from Tyler in East Texas,  is seeking a GI physician to work collaboratively with the current general surgeons and assist with reestablishing our GI service line. The incoming GI will be the primary provider for scopes within the community, and will be taking over for a physician retiring in April 2025.

• Hospital employed position covering one hospital
• Primarily an adult and geriatric patient base
• No clinic call requirements
• Call schedule : 10 days / month (includes 1 weekend)
• Dedicated clinic and surgery days
• ERCP is not required but a plus
• The ideal physician enjoys living and practicing in a rural community
• Generous compensation package offered to include base salary guarantee, wRVU bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan repayment assistance, along with stipends for early commitment while in training
