Job descriptionProficiency in estimating software and takeoff tools for heavy civil projects. Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and crew-based production rates. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract language. Effective communication and teamwork skills across disciplines and levels. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail. Competitive base salary ($104,860 to $131,080) and participation in our annual incentive plan 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions Highly competitive benefits programs, including : Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance Paid Bonding Leave, 15 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid Holidays

What You'll Be Doing
- Analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for heavy highway construction.
- Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to gather input and ensure bid completeness.
- Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
- Maintain historical cost data and contribute to estimating best practices.
- Participate in proposal preparation, bid reviews, and client presentations as needed.

This position operates in a dynamic office environment with occasional field visits to job sites. May involve extended hours during critical bid periods and periodic travel depending on project needs.
