Job descriptionBe at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. Security Officer Job
Allied Universal is now hiring full-time Security Officers for Smithfield Foods in Sioux Falls, SD.
Job Details :
Pay Rate : $19.00 / hour
Schedule : Multiple Shifts Available
Duties : Foot / Mobile Patrol, CCTV Monitoring, and Access Control.
Experience : Prior security experience is preferred, but not required. Alternatively, a background in customer service is required.
Skills : Great computer skills, and must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements : Must be able to walk, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities :
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
