Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36

Patient Ratio : 1 : 4

Unit : Emergency Department (13 beds)

Charting System : Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred)

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Parking : Free on-site parking

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Current and active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (required prior to start)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required

CPI certification preferred

Epic charting experience preferred

First-time travel nurses welcome

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

ER RN Job Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Assess, triage, and manage patients with a wide range of emergent conditions in a rural hospital environment

Administer emergency medications and interventions, including blood product administration, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation

Assist with emergency procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion / management, and splint application

Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response

Float within scope to meet facility needs as required

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR
