HDR Engineering is seeking a Substation Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery team, with opportunities in multiple locations across the United States.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring project milestones are met.
• Understand physical substation design, including yard layouts, grounding, lightning protection, and control building arrangements.
• Understand protection and control design, including panel arrangements, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare calculations for studies and reports, and equipment specifications for procurement and testing.
• Coordinate design activities with other departments and communicate project progress effectively.
• Mentor and supervise less-experienced team members as needed.
