Industrial Service Technician

Tri-State Overhead Crane continues to grow our customer base and expand into new areas, and we are always on the lookout for strong service technicians to be part of our team! We've been an independently owned c ompany for over 60+ years and still have family roots. We are a material handling equipment fabrication and service company based in the Midwest with customers from coast to coast. This role will be based out of our St. Louis location.

The Service Technician will run electrical and mechanical diagnostics and deliver required repairs. They are responsible for performing comprehensive quality inspections, required repairs, and preventative maintenance services on overhead cranes, hoists, and associated parts. They will spend a majority of their time on clients' sites providing service, and as such, are also frontline representatives of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists and drives.
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Proper use of a man lift during service.
• Evaluate and communicate with customers recommendations requiring repairs.
• Communicate with management and sales as to what further needs the customer could have.
• Maintains time tracking per job and reports any product concerns or inconsistencies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
