Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) preferred

Current CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) or CET (Certified Electrocardiogram Technician) certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire

Registered Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine required

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

Ability to meet hospital and departmental competency requirements

Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting and pushing

Radiology Job Responsibilities

Deliver professional care to patients undergoing Cardiac Stress Testing and diagnostic imaging procedures

Prepare patients, perform IV starts, and ensure accurate ECG lead placement and interpretation

Administer exercise and pharmacological stress tests using nuclear, non-nuclear, MRI, and CT imaging modalities

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality clinical support

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
