Officer
The Officer position will help support and oversee the cash administration and accounting processing for limited partnerships clients that invest in alternative investments (Private Equity, Real Estate, Natural Resources and Hedge Funds). This role is being serviced by the AIAS Team.
Responsibilities Include :
- Training junior staff that will be supporting these clients. This will entail detailed hands-on processing on the MCH accounting platform, the eCFM system and AlphaFrontier
- Creating timelines and overseeing the client deliverables and ensuring all final internal handoffs are completed
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that the junior team members have booking all transactions correctly
- Working closely with clients to assist with inquiries
- Help assist junior staff with the conversion of new and existing clients and transitioning them into our standard LPS operating model
- Provide mentorship and oversight to junior associates on the team
Qualifications :
BA / BS in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required3-5 years of related experience requiredPrivate Equity / Alternative Investments exposure is a plusStrong organizational, interpersonal and service-oriented skills requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a team-based environmentAdditional Skills Include :
Ability to work in various web-based applications, MS Excel, and MS AccessStrong analytical skills, detail oriented, work independently and collaborativelyStrong verbal and written communications skills and have the ability to handle multiple prioritiesSalary Range : $65,000 - $102,500 Annual
