Job description

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Duration : 3 months (Possibility of Extension)

Location : Goldsboro, NC

Contract Terms : W2

Shift : Days, 12

  • 4, 48hr / wk.

Note : Stipends Available for Travelers. OT available after 40hrs.

Job summary :

  • The Med Surg Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
  • Med / Surge Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
  • The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
  • She will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
  • She will provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
