Tyler Union- Plant Superintendent- Weekend Shift (Maintenance and Machining)
Tyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc, the nation's leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances is actively looking for a Plant Superintendent (Weekend shift) for its main manufacturing facility located in Anniston, AL.
The Plant Superintendent general supervision of all aspects of daily plant operations on assigned shift to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role works closely with the production, maintenance, and shipping teams to improve productivity and communication across the manufacturing operation. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing production activities, enforcing safety, environmental, and quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that team members are trained in respective roles. The superintendent serves as a key leader in aligning operational activities with organizational goals.

Managerial Responsibilities
Directly manage production leaders within a department producing ductile iron waterworks fittings. Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
