Technical Lead

Technical Lead - Michigan, USA - 18-Months

Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their unique and niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Lead with experience to drive the delivery of a large new capital invest project on an initial 12-month contract. As the Technical Lead you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state of the art facility.

Responsibilities and Requirements :

• Manage a team providing client engineering input to lead the design effort and subsequent phases for each of the following elements, throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
• All Process unit operations.
• Automation, including systems infrastructure, platform selection, hardware design and systems integration for both process systems control and building management systems.
• The role also encompasses responsibility for the management of Commission and Qualification activities on the project utilizing the client's Verification (ASTM E) model.
• Strongly integrate the work of Process, Automation and C&Q functions with those of Technical Services, Operations and Quality.
• With the CQV Lead, establish all necessary support for the successful implementation of the requirements of the CQV approach in the Engineering Phase.
• Support the generation of the overall Project Schedule, with specific focus on developing detailed plans for the Engineering phase which support the Construction and CQV goals of the project.
• Attend & contribute to monthly sponsorship meetings for the project.
• Produce Monthly Reports for the Engineering Phase, in line with overall project reporting requirements.
