About the role :

The Safety Specialist will perform full-time onsite construction safety related duties on datacenter builds throughout the United States. Prior safety experience is required. Immediate hiring needs are located in the cities listed below. Additional projects and needs will continue to grow across other locations throughout the US.

Responsibilities :

• Provide field construction safety support
• Daily construction safety walks at project location based on direction from the client superintendent / foreman / Project Manager citing any deficiencies from applicable codes, standards and regulations both locally and federally.
• Complete Construction Safety Log including deficiencies, daily, as well as Safety Orientation document, for all incoming workers, and submit copies daily to Project Manager. Report both deficiencies and positive observations to client daily in person.
• Provide construction safety coaching to trade workers supporting the construction project.
• Attend safety meetings as directed by client superintendent / foreman / Project Manager.
• Complete Timesheet (each Friday), signed by Contractor’s Staff as well as designated client site contact and provide weekly to Project Manager

What we offer :

This is a project-based 2 week contract opportunity . The expectation for the position is a minimum of 40 hours weekly. This is a 1099 contract no per diem ; depending on experience, and ranges from $55-$60 per hour. You must reside in the area and able to commute successfully for day-to-day operation. The schedule is M-F; however, flexibility is a must. Please reach out with your resume.
