Job Description :

We are seeking a General Internal Medicine (GIM) physician to provide specialized, evidence-based care to adult patients in an outpatient setting. This is an opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining autonomy in clinical practice. The role involves managing complex medical cases, coordinating care, and contributing to the broader care pathway of the clinic.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult patients with complex or chronic medical conditions.
  • Manage diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a wide range of internal medicine cases.
  • Collaborate with family physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals for continuity of care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including lab work, imaging, and specialist referrals.
  • Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in EMR systems.
  • Contribute to patient education and preventive health efforts.

Qualifications :

  • Medical Degree and recognized postgraduate training in Internal Medicine.
  • Certification in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent (e.g., MRCP(UK), ABIM, FRACP with eligibility for licensure in Ontario).
  • Eligible for independent practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
