Busser/Food Runner

Trevor's is seeking a Busser/Food Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and customer service, and will be able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff and customers. You would be helping service our restauant, golf bays, cigar lounge, and bar.

Duties:

• Assist in pre-bussing and bussing tables
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure that all orders are complete and accurate before delivering them to customers
• Assist Servers with clearing tables and resetting them for the next customers
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the restaurant, cigar lounge, bar, golf bays, and storage areas
• Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure all food is prepared and served safely
• Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by management as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated with a high energy level
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
