License Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

The fulltime night shift position will consist of three, 12-hour shifts per week (7a-7p). Position Summary The MedSurg nurse supports Granville Health System#s vision to #Make a positive difference in the health and well-being of our communities.# The nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. The nurse will be responsible for meeting the standards required by JCAHO, CMS, GHS and other regulating agencies for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the unit. The nurse will utilize the healthcare system EMR for appropriate and timely documentation of care provided. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as an LPN or RN#in the state of North Carolina or#compatible compact state. Current BLS certification. Within 6 months of hire RNs will obtain ACLS (offered internally).
