Contract Billings Coordinator

Role Summary : The Contract Billings Coordinator will help prepare the trade partners' pay applications for processing. This position will support project teams to ensure accurate delivery of payment, handle general sub payment inquires and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients. Autonomy & Decision-Making : Follows directions and refers all exceptions to supervisor. Career Path : Various.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core Contract Billings Coordinator :

  • Monitors trade partner compliance codes. Communicates with trade partners on inquires for required paperwork, payment status, etc. as it relates to liens and affidavits.
  • Selects and mails trade partner checks for all assigned projects when paid by the owner.
  • Tracks trade partner and supplier lien waivers and affidavits. Prepares vouchers for self perform jobs.
  • Meets client commitments; recognizes and acts upon service opportunities.
  • Ensures that documentation is tailored to expected readers / users.
  • Regularly reassesses priorities and competing demands and adjusts allocation of time and resources to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure and adjusts plans to meet changing needs.

  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner

  • Education : Associate's degree (Preferred) In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

    Experience : 2+ years administrative support and / or accounts payable experience (Preferred)

    Working Environment : Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds. Typically travel is not required. Normal office environment. Frequent activity : Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen. Occasional activity : Standing, Walking, Reaching above Shoulder.
