Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. The APRN will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

• Duties
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health management.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including sonography, as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including acute pain management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level 4 Trauma Center setting.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient care practices.
• Provide specialized care in areas such as toddler care, nursing home settings, and medical-surgical environments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Skills
• Proficient in psychopharmacology for effective management of mental health conditions.
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to lift patients safely when necessary.
• Knowledgeable in gastric lavage procedures for emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
