Job descriptionWork in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting Nurse-patient ratio is 1 : 2 in L&D and 1 : 8 for postpartum / couplets Night shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts per week, 19 : 00-07 : 30 On-call required for 2 shifts every 6 weeks Weekend requirement is 2 weekends per month or every other weekend Floating required per policy and clinical experience Cerner charting system is used; experience preferred but not required Main responsibilities include the care and management of laboring patients and postpartum / couplet care Completion of mandatory orientation and annual modules is required Major holiday and holiday week RTO requests will not be accommodated, with exceptions coordinated onsite post arrival No blocked scheduling requests allowed Previous permanent staff may not return to the same campus within 24 months, or to a different campus within 12 months Locals accepted at a lower rate with a 75-mile local radius rule Travel teams with related or married members may not work on the same unit Active TN or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum two years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required Current certifications in ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, FHM, AWHONN, and NIHSS Prior travel experience is required for all specialties Certifications and licensure must not expire within 45 days of assignment start High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
