AY 25-26 Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry

Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $4,500.00 per course.

Governors State Universitys College of Arts and Sciences seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach Chemistry courses in the Division of Science, Mathematics and Technology. At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjuncts are not tenure-track, not a part of the faculty bargaining unit, and are not included in membership of faculty Senate. Essential Responsibilities

Teach courses on a part-time basis.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required :

Masters Degree in Chemistry or related field.

Preferred : PhD in Chemistry

Experience teaching college level Chemistry.

Professional experience in the Chemistry or Biochemistry fields.

Professional experience in Chemistry, such as Research or Consulting.
