Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare opportunity)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (August 13, 2024 – November 12, 2024)

Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry – 4 South Unit

Shift : 3x12 hour day shifts per week (night shifts also available)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,990 - $2,130 per week

Employment Type : Travel RN, W2 position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state

At least 1 year of recent experience in a Med / Surg Telemetry nursing role

BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare setting

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and ongoing care

Accurately document all patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
