Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
Team Leadership :
- Providing guidance, support, and motivation to team members, fostering a productive work environment based on the Company Values of Collaboration, Transparency, and Inspiration
- Drive individual and team performance through the established Performance Management System (PMS)
- Recognize and celebrate accomplishments, goals / objectives, etc.
- Will manage purchased direct parts
- Ability to Lead and manage a Team up to 10 employees
Operational Management :
Managing daily activities within the area of responsibility, ensuring smooth workflows and timely execution of tasksDevelop and monitor annual budget and spendSupplier Relationship Management :
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, acquiring necessary and timely information, and monitoring performanceConduct supplier program reviews and supplier visits to insure demand alignmentInventory Management :
Ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs and wasteLogistics Coordination :
Collaborate with the Logistics Organization on the movement of goods, including part prioritization to ensure efficient delivery of material to the site and work areasData Analysis and Reporting :
Analyzing data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) - On time part delivery, on time supplier delivery, part shortages (focus on Category 3 and 5), Kit fill rate, Lines of Balance (LOB), etc.Process Improvement :
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency within the supply chainThinking outside the box to achieve quantum performance leapsProblem Solving :
Addressing and resolving issues that may arise in the supply chain, such as delays, disruptions, or quality issuesDevelop advance warning signals to mitigate potential issuesMaster Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) processStakeholder Collaboratio n :
Working closely with other departments including operations, program, quality, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective coordinationQualifications
Required Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in as a Supply Chain Professional and / or Management experience in a production environmentStrong understanding of supply chain principles and practices : This includes logistics, procurement, inventory management, and demand planningExcellent communication and interpersonal skills : Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholdersAnalytical and problem-solving skills : Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop effective solutionsLeadership and team management skills : Ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve common goalsNegotiation and contract management skills : Ability to negotiate favorable outcomes and terms with suppliersProficiency in relevant software and tools : Experience with supply chain management systems, inventory management software, and data analysis toolsExcellent Microsoft Office Suite skillsExperience working with multiple cross functional groupsStrong project management and time management skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience presenting to and interacting with all levels of the organizationAbility to effect changeKnowledge of MRP systems, SAP preferredHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications :
