A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT - KENNEL ATTENDANT

As an Animal Care Assistant - Kennel Attendant, the wagging tails and excited barks welcome you to another shift filled with furry adventures as you enter our state-of-the-art facility each day. Your day kicks off with cleaning and sanitizing the boarding rooms, daycare areas, and play yards to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. You ensure that every dog feels comfortable and loved, paying attention to their individual needs and providing enriching activities throughout their stay.

While walking dogs on leash, you follow strict safety protocols, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. With your keen eye for detail, you promptly report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to ensure the well-being of both dogs and humans. You collaborate with your supportive team members, maintaining open communication and working together to create a clean and safe environment for all.

ABOUT TAIL COUNTRY PET RESORT

Our founders Barbara and Chad Noll, dog lovers and animal behavior experts, founded Tail Country Pet Resort in 2018 with the goal of providing top-quality care for our customers' beloved dogs. We are located on a beautiful 54-acre farm in the lush countryside of southern York County. Our services include boarding, daycare, training, and grooming.

We could not provide such exceptional animal care without our dedicated staff. Our team receives tons of training and support , including dog body language, CPR, and first aid, not to mention ample opportunities for continued education . WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT - KENNEL ATTENDANT

• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
• Valid driver's license

WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION

This is a full-time OR part-time position with staggered shifts starting from 6 : 30 am to 8 : 00 pm . As we care for dogs 365 days a year, you must be available to work flexible schedules , including weekends, evenings, and holidays . Tail Country Pet Resort is located in the beautiful town of Dallastown, PA .
