About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our patients, from initial contact through follow-up care. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in managing appointments, records, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume phone calls with professionalism and empathy
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance details
- Schedule and reschedule appointments accurately
- Maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Support front desk operations and ensure a welcoming environment
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff
Qualifications
Required :
Experience in a healthcare or medical office settingProficiency in EHR systems and medical record managementStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office)Familiarity with multi-line phone systemsExcellent organizational and clerical skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred :
Experience in sleep medicine or specialty careBilingual (English / Spanish)Certification in medical office administrationCompensation & Benefits
