About The Position

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of direct liver / transplant or RN experience required.

License :

Active nursing license required.

Certifications :

BLS and ACLS required at the time of submission.

NIHSS must be obtained prior to start.

Must-Have :

Strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience reflected on skills checklist.

Proficient in MISONIX / CUSA.

Experience putting organs back in the new patient, not just harvesting.

Description :

The position entails working in the operating room with a focus on liver transplant surgeries.

The schedule includes day shifts from 11 : 00 to 23 : 30, with liver call responsibilities.

Other cases may be performed if no liver / transplant cases are present.

It is essential to meet all non-negotiable requirements as outlined.

Candidates should have experience in transplant surgeries.

The position requires participation in training for students and new staff.

All RTO must be included upfront in submission; no exceptions will be made later.

The facility operates under a strict smoke-free policy; all travelers must be nicotine-free.

A negative 10 panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of the start date.

Two references from direct supervisors / managers are necessary for submission.

Failure to meet the experience and certification requirements will lead to disqualification.

Candidates will be required to take EKG and pharmacy tests during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts allowed for each.
