GIS Architect

Job Title : GIS Architect

Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid - 3 days / week in office)

Duration : 12 months with possibility of extension

Minimum Requirements (Required) :

• 7+ years professional GIS experience, including 3+ years as lead / architect in cloud environments (health / HHS / government preferred)
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field.
• Expert proficiency in Esri ArcGIS (ArcGIS Pro, DB management, spatial analysis, web mapping)
• Demonstrated geospatial governance leadership (policy, stakeholder engagement, frameworks)
• Strong knowledge of data management, metadata standards, and QA
• Hands-on with enterprise geospatial data architecture, workflows, datasets (demographic, socioeconomic, health data)
• Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder management
• Able to manage multiple projects independently
