The Neonatology Physician is responsible for maintaining the strategic plan for the NICU to ensure the highest quality of patient care. This role includes participation in clinical research, providing educational support to residents and fellows, and managing critically ill newborns requiring advanced respiratory support. The physician will practice family-centered care and collaborate with a team in a Level II NICU setting while addressing the cultural needs of the community.

Job Summary :
- Maintain and continually update a strategic plan for the NICU for the highest quality of care for patients in the NICU.
- Participate in clinical research as appropriate.
- Provide educational support to Residents and Fellows
- Ability to function in a Level II NICU
- Comfortable managing babies with CPAP and ventilation support
- Provide family-centered care.
Requirements :
An MD, DO, or foreign equivalent with active board certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.Demonstrated record of supporting patients in aPediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.Academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor is preferred.Demonstrate sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the community.Ability to function in a team environment to support collaboration. Level II NICU as the primary physicianExcellent verbal, written and group presentation skills.Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date.Unrestricted DEA certificationBenefits :
