Company-provided vehicles, some tools, and phone allowance for work purposes. Install commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with safety standards. Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot systems during installation. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent malfunctions. Adhere to safety protocols and local / national regulations. Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Install wiring to connect components to power sources. Braze or solder defective joints and leaks. Be available for out-of-town travel / work on a weekly basis. Have or are willing to obtain basic tools for the job. EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Type II or Universal preferred). Minimum of 1-2 years experience in commercial refrigeration installation. Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and parallel rack systems. Proficiency in using HVAC tools and knowledge of refrigeration cycles. Strong problem-solving abilities, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug screen. High school diploma or GED, HVAC certification preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Comfortable working in confined spaces for extended periods. Capable of climbing ladders and standing for long durations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
