Job Summary :
Performs routine, reactive, and preventative maintenance on all production equipment within the facility. Operates mechanical and electrical systems to support production throughput and ensures equipment reliability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on all production equipment, including mechanical and electrical components. Typical equipment includes filling and packaging machinery.
Conduct routine maintenance on production equipment and components, including scheduled and unscheduled work as required. May carry and respond to a cell phone, pager, or radio.
Collaborate with all departments to enhance manufacturing capacity by improving equipment reliability. Maintain clear communication across departments and management.
Document and record operating and maintenance data. May prepare purchase requisitions as instructed.
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work environment and facility.
Monitor, control, and communicate the condition of all process alarm systems to authorized personnel.
Use basic hand tools, power tools, and meters (DVM, Amp, Ohm) safely and effectively.
Comply with all OSHA and safety requirements.
Interpret engineering and equipment installation drawings.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.
General knowledge or formal training in mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Ability to meet attendance and shift requirements, including potential additional hours to meet deadlines.
