Accounting Coordinator
Our client, a leading organization in the Real Estate and Facilities sector, is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join their team. As an Accounting Coordinator, you will be part of the Real Estate and Facilities Department supporting finance and property operations teams. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Location : VA, Newport News
What's the Job?
Monitor shared inboxes, manage workflows, and distribute physical mail.
Process lease-related expenses such as utilities, building repairs, insurance, and taxes.
Ensure charges comply with lease terms and company policies.
Communicate with landlords and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records and perform financial calculations using Microsoft Excel.
What's Needed?
3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or real estate accounting (preferred but not required).
Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
