About The Position

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : At least 2 years of previous Stepdown experience required.

License : State License Required

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Description :

This position offers same-day interviews.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

The traveler must be located more than 50 miles from the market.

Unit Info :

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Patient Population : CHF, Cardiac Angiogram before and after care, Ablation, Pacemaker, Tee, Cardioversion, Stroke, Management of Cardiac Drips.

Drips include Nitro, Amiodarone, Cardiazem, Nirdipine, Heparin, and Lidocaine.

Titration is required.

Billable OT : 36-40 hours per week.

Holidays : Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).

Limit of 1 day request off between 11 / 26 / 25-11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25-1 / 2 / 26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
