Your Opportunity with ECG : Consultant or Senior Consultant
As a consultant or senior consultant at ECG, you'll be an important part of our consulting team, working alongside the top professionals in the industry to come up with solutions that shape healthcare. You will join ECG as a general member of our healthcare consulting pool, where you'll have the opportunity to gain diverse experiences by working across ECG's four divisions : Health System Performance, Medical Group Optimization, Payer Strategy & Contracting, and Strategy & Enterprise Growth.
- Health System Performance : Lead comprehensive performance improvement and clinical program optimization across the full continuum of care, supporting high-quality care while driving operational and financial results across all care settings.
- Medical Group Optimization : Work with health systems and independent organizations to improve the performance of medical groups, with a focus on governance and leadership, integration, infrastructure, and provider compensation (design, administration, valuation, and compliance).
- Payer Strategy & Contracting : Optimize strategies, relationships, terms, and methodologies related to revenue and market position for healthcare providers, disrupters, and payers.
- Strategy & Enterprise Growth : Develop and support strategies, planning, organizational design, transactions, and partnerships that reposition health systems, academic health systems, physician groups, and medical and health sciences schools for impact and growth.
Your Responsibilities May Include :
Analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting data to inform client recommendations.Using financial modeling to conduct in-depth analyses and recommend executable strategies.Conducting stakeholder interviews.Leading information-gathering efforts.Assisting in developing and managing work plans, schedules, and budgets.Drafting project analyses and deliverables.Communicating project progress and seeking input.Developing depth of technical expertise.Identifying follow-on opportunities and helping scope and close such engagements.Assisting in the design and implementation of recommended solutions.Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG senior consulting leaders.Taking responsibility for project outcomes.Communicating effectively with management and executive-level client staff.Learning about ECG's breadth of solutions and identifying those that reflect personal and professional interests.Participating in peer and junior staff knowledge development and career advancement.Demonstrating the ability to excel at consulting while balancing work and personal life.Acting as an ECG ambassador within personal, professional, and alumni networks.Our Expectations of You
Graduating with the class of 2026 with a master's degree in business administration and / or a health-related fieldStrong knowledge of and passion for the healthcare industry2+ years (Consultant-level) or 3-5 years (Senior Consultant-level) of relevant, professional experience prior to graduate school (e.g., healthcare consulting and / or hospital administration or operations), or a strong business background in strategic operations, finance, or consultingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsProven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projectsDemonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skillsTrack record of strong client serviceDemonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilitiesStrong written and verbal presentation skillsAbility and willingness to travel at least 60% of the time, with flexibility to meet client needsJob Locations

The estimated base salary range for this job is $110,000 - $142,000 annually.
