ATL-Client Engagement Executive
As a Client Engagement Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business and expanding client relationships through consultative selling. A significant part of this role is focused on acquiring new clients and net-new logos, while also deepening relationships with existing accounts. This requires a strong understanding of the IT consulting business model, including project-based work, and deep familiarity with services such as application development, data intelligence, delivery services, and project / program management. You'll work closely with both internal delivery teams and external stakeholders to shape solutions that meet client needs and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive acquisition of new clients and net-new logos in mid-size to enterprise markets, while also expanding relationships within existing accounts.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities that align with our consulting services portfolio.
- Understand client goals and challenges and position relevant consulting services (e.g., app development, data / BI, delivery, PMaaS) to meet their objectives.
- Develop tailored proposals and solutions in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach through contract negotiation and handoff to delivery.
- Maintain and grow long-term client relationships through regular engagement and strategic account planning.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline; provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to our service offerings.
- Represent Hylaine at client meetings, conferences, and networking events.
Requirements :
Proven experience in IT sales, with a strong track record specifically in consulting or professional services environments (preferred over technology / product sales experience).Demonstrated success in new client acquisition and logo growth in competitive markets, with established relationships and proven results in the Atlanta metro area.Deep understanding of the IT consulting delivery model, including project-based work, time and materials, and fixed-price engagements.Strong knowledge of core service areas such as application development, data intelligence / analytics, IT delivery services, and project management as a service (PMaaS).Demonstrated ability to sell customized, complex IT solutions across multiple domains.Experience navigating long and consultative sales cycles, working with both technical and business stakeholders (including C-level executives).Ability to understand client pain points and translate them into actionable and tailored consulting proposals.Familiarity with delivery lifecycles, resource planning, and aligning project scope with business outcomes.Skilled in pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM usage (Salesforce).Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.Candidates with a consulting background who have transitioned into sales roles are strongly encouraged to apply, as they often bring the necessary market, industry, and service context to succeed.
